Sofa Eight Modular
Sofa Eight is a sofa system comprising 5 key modules, including a timber side table, that can be combined in a variety of ways to achieve numerous possible configurations. A continuation of Neri&Hu's exploration of an expressive tectonic language, the sofa's main supporting element is a traditional wood joinery assemblage of stacking members in the X, Y, and Z-axes, pinned together to form a structural base. The cushioned seating utilizes memory foam for comfort while maintaining clean, firm lines.
