Platform Sofa

Opium beds for communal lounging have been in China since the Tang Dynasty. Neri&Hu took this historic typology and updated it to create Platform, a contemporary sofa with a simple profile. Deep arms form two useful shelves, as well as side tables for books or a cup of tea.

Available in American black walnut, American white oak, or European Ash in a range of finishes, and a range of fabrics. Platform Short Sofa comes with four small throw cushions and two large back cushions, and Platform Long Sofa comes with five small throw cushions and two large back cushions as standard. These cushions are feather-filled. The seat cushions are made from memory foam and Dacron.
