Alea Side Table in Blackened Ash

A utilitarian object that can be used as a side table or a stool. This study in wood resulted in using a three-way lap joint which is the main focus of the piece. Although the joint is partially hidden, one can get a glimpse of it from the top, it urges the viewer to take a look underneath to see it in its entirety.
Made of solid ash with blackened finish.
