Bretton Bed is named after the town in West Yorkshire, England, a county that inspires Matthew Hilton, with it’s rugged landscape and history of producing modernist sculptors. The bed features meticulous detailing including a headboard that tapers toward the bed base, mitre joints in the corners of the platform, and a beautiful combination of materials. Designed by Matthew Hilton for his eponymous brand, and manufactured by De La Espada craftsmen.

NOTE 1: The Bretton legs are made from gravity die-cast aluminium and contain small defects that are inherent to the artisanal manufacturing process. These tend to be imperceptible once installed, and do not affect the overall appearance of the product. NOTE 2: When using Elmorustical leather (Range C) to upholster the expansive surface of the headboard, our craftspeople will use their discretion to ensure the natural variations in the hide’s colour and grain are most elegantly displayed. This may mean adding a central stitch line to the headboard.
