No. 8 by Christian Caulas
In 2013 Christian Caulas created his first collection of sculptural works. Self-taught, he discovered sculpture and woodturning. His artistic exploration draws on archaic art and minimalism, through which his works take on the appearance of ceremonial objects. Darkened, Christian Caulas burns his achievements as a ritual act. The wood reveals its material, its texture, its soul, and that of the artist.
