TOOBITURE is a process of extruding marbled stained porcelains through custom maxed dies. Once extruded, every TOOB must be meticulously planed to reveal the unique hidden pattern. TOOBs then go through several kiln firings and are machines and assembled into furniture.

HYUNUKO is a design studio created by Henry Kim, a ceramicist from Los Angeles. Before beginning his studio practice in January 2021, Henry was the Head of Ceramics at the renowned LA-based art and design studio, The Haas Brothers for eight years. Under the mentorship of the brothers, Henry developed intricate processes and material exploration, working on the Accretion and Fairy Berry series. Henry’s current work expresses ideas based in nature, fantasy, escapism, sci-fi, martial-arts, and luxury brands.
